Swiss perch ceviche - fresh, light & incredibly aromatic

Ceviche - the Peruvian national dish - depends on the quality of the fish. Therefore, our most important tip: only use fish of the best quality!

We deliver ultra-fresh skinless perch fillets directly from Switzerland - in sashimi quality and to your door within 24 hours. It really doesn't get any fresher than this.

Here is our simple but sophisticated recipe for 4 people:

Ingredients (for 4 people)

approx. 400 g fillet of perch without skin

5 limes (juice)

approx. 10 g fresh ginger

2 red onions

1 small chili pepper

some fresh coriander

Salt & pepper

Preparation

  1. Prepare the fish
    Cut the perch fillets into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Prepare the marinade
    Peel and finely grate the ginger.
    Wash, deseed and finely slice the chili.
    Squeeze the juice from the limes.

  3. Marinate the fish
    Place the fish pieces in a bowl with the ginger, chilli and lime juice.
    Cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Stir several times in between.

  4. Add fresh ingredients
    Peel and finely slice the onions.
    Pluck the coriander leaves.
    Mix everything together with the fish.

  5. Season to taste & serve
    Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and serve immediately - preferably with crusty bread or tortilla chips.
